Role of North Korea
The Korean War was a partially of the Cold War. It was disputes between North Korea and South Korea however, North Korea seemed to be the most hostile one towards its alternative. In fact, the were the ones who first started the war, with means of an invasion, with help from the USSR. In the eyes of the other nations, North Korea was the enemy. They posed threats not only to South Korea but to the countries that supported them, like the U.S, Canada, England, New Zealand, and India. While North Korea had two major allies, China and Russia, on their side. This dispute between the divided nation came from their own political views. While North Korea was a strong, and powerful communist country, South Korea was a democratic country. At the time of their near separation conflicts broke out as to if they should become what the other was. This of course did not go well. Following the invasion of South Korea, North Korea crossed the 38th parallel, which was the border between them. During the time of the Cold War, North and South Korea brought upon themselves the Korean War.
