South Korean Response
After the invasion of South Korea by North Korea, South Korea suffered a great loss of not only military loss, but a great decrease in their citizens. Prior to the attack, allies of the South were baffled as to how they would counteract. in MacArthur's defense he simply stated to fight back with an even bigger armada, however, Truman did not see it that way. President Truman wanted a more civil approach, as to coming to an agreement, or a simple compromise. Neither nation was looking for a tamed conversation, instead a blood-gory war. However, MacArthur saw this a chance to fight back and gain some control form the North. Truman had no idea, to him as far as he knows, was still trying to figure a way to be in a more civilized manner to settle this. MacArthur had ordered his troops to cross over the 38th Parallel. President Truman, however was furious that General MacArthur went against his wishes to attack the North side. Sooner or later, General MacArthur was removed from the American Army.
